Melodramatic Fool

THIS. Okay, I know it's been all over most everyone's flist already, but I can't help but pimp it out, too. I love the stuff that's come out of this comm in previous rounds pretty much more than life itself already, but but \o/ Ohmygosh, this is making me finally crack on my 'no more challenges, ever' thing.

I just, I *know* I shouldn't try another challenge. I obviously stress and freak out and turn into a whiny, sniveling twit about it. But BUT \o/ I just...yesterday I read the prompt list, and saw one that made me all O_O MUST DO THAT. But then today, I looked again and found one I wanted to do *even more* \o/ Like, the thought of writing it makes my brain squee at a pitch only dogs and dolphins can hear. I have been mentally flailing for *hours* now at the thought of it. I know there's so many people that could do this sort of thing so much better, but I *neeeed* to be able to write that particular prompt for my life to be complete. For serious. \o/♥

Less than an hour 'til sign-ups, SO EXCITED. Ohman, crossing my fingers that I can get the one I want most like you wouldn't *believe*.

Woo, the thunderstorming today. \o/ It's been crazysauce. Though the torrential downpour/freaky winds part seems to have passed mostly already.

Bebop-cat's doing a lot better, which is yay. ♥ Still not fully normal, but starting to act a lot more like his usual self. Will take him in tomorrow to check his rbc counts, as well as Crystal-cat who at approx. 22 is finally starting to act like her hips/back legs are really arthritic, something they've been kind of expecting. At least they should have some sort of pain reliever shots/pills since arthritis in cats and dogs is so common.

The vent cleaning had been rescheduled for the 15th (which wasn't *that* much sooner than the massively late reschedule but oh well), but thanks to the massive rains this morning freeing up techs from outside work, they've come over today. Yay for it finally getting done.

I am still SO FREAKING EXCITED about the Supernatural The Animation announcements of yesterday. I can't put into words how much omgyaygleeflailhappy I'm feeling over this. It's like Christmas and my birthday and everything I love to fangeek on wrapped into one. Eeeeeeeee♥ And to hear Madhouse is involved? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madhouse_(company)) Omgomgomg yes! \o/ And this bit: Takahiro Yoshimatsu (Trigun) is designing the characters! Yesssssssssssssss \o/ Ohman, Madhouse, they've been involved with some awesome stuff I've loved. SQUEE, I tell you, SQUEE. ♥ I wonder how long until we find out who's doing the soundtrack, because you bet your ass I'm crossing my fingers for certain composers (my dream is Yoko Kanno takes on classic rock like she handled jazz/blues, but yeah, the odds of that are so nil--but still, I can hope! ^^ ) Too bad this all didn't happen back in the days of cel animation, because HOLY CATS would I start cel collecting again.

Safari, J2 (rpf), rating not stated but I'd say G, and not sure how many words but it's really nicely long :D Did I say how happy I am with it? I did? Too bad, saying it again. \8D/ She handled my prompt so *perfectly*, and I'm so full of squee because it is everything that I love in a good h/c and sick!Jared fic. And I've been craving something like that so much! It's *so* cute and adorable and sweet. Her Jared and Jensen are just spot on, as is the way she writes them together. This is definitely something I'll be rereading whenever I need a pick-me-up. :)

Nearly had to do a 10man raid since the guild was looking short of people. Then they had extra folks log in, and they were all "Are you sure you're okay with sitting out?" and I was like "OMFG YES I MUST GO WATCH SUPERNATURAL!" Anyway. :| Shooooooooooow ♥♥♥
