So after about 560$ of vet bills, looks like Bebop-cat went really anemic (sounds like something that can happen with chronic kidney issues, from what they were saying). Just in 3 weeks he'd dropped a pound, too. So they've got him on steroids now and the same red blood cell-boosting injection that our elderly cat's on. They'll retest his rbc count next Friday, and then periodically after that to determine if he needs to stay on the steroids/injections permanently or no. So crossing fingers and all that.

Bummed out over a stupid, minor, tiny thing. One of those body of an adult/brain of a insecure teenage girl things. Just have had a certain mental/emotional button pretty much all my life, way back since I was a kid, of how if someone wanted to be a friend, that when I'd let them get to know me, they'd not want to be a friend anymore. Kinda got that button pressed again. Suckage. Doesn't matter if you're 36, 26, 16, or 6, it always kinda blows.

I...think I am in love. Went over to BestBuy to pick up Zombieland for when folks come over tonight (Zombieland! Eeeee! \o/ So looking forward to it), and I happened to see where they had a commercial for Final Fantasy XIII on a widescreen TV.

Oh god. Oh my god. Do you know how much I am crying because I do not have a PS3 and can't get a PS3 in the foreseeable future? I AM CRYING SO SO SO FREAKING MUCH AUGH. This game. Oh god so gorgeous. SO GORGEOUS. The character designs (save for a few that I'm meh on or outright bleh on :p ) are holyfuckPRETTY--and the animation/graphics/world/creatures? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. I AM CRYING WITH WANT FOR THIS GAME FFFFFFFF. I know I would suck at it. But still. T_____T

Interesting though--I just normally gravitate to male characters, I don't know why, I just do. Video games, even WoW (hence my main), reading, TV/movies. This is the first time I'm just not interested in the male toons (save the one), but SPARKLING *__* at the female ones. The summon-type things (Eidolons?) also look amazing. Now the play system...that's why I think I'd suck at it. >_< I really miss the old battlemenus of old--and this looks somewhat similar to FFXII, which I never quite liked. But EH. WANTY WANT anyway. *grabbyhands* Guess it doesn't matter what the play system's like since I don't have a PS3 anyway. BAH. /sigh...someday, someday. And maybe by then it'll be a reasonable price. : / Or when there's some sort of PS4 and no one wants PS3 anymore.

ANYWAY. :| The aunt finally got sent to the rehab center in Lincoln \o/ Woo! Progress! It took a week longer than they expected to get her to where she could go, but the things they were concerned about (making sure the infection was gone, verifying the incision was healing right inside, etc) were all okay. And the physical therapy at the hospital itself had her able to stand with a walker for short times, though not yet really able to walk yet (muscles are too weak).
