And there is a mouse in the house (brazen little bugger that ran across the floor in broad daylight, or fluorescent light, whatever). This explains why the cats have been freaking out and manic for days. Though the fact that there is still a mouse after several days considering the whole four cats thing verifies that they are all dumb as bricks.

[Re-edit: Man, it was all Discovery channel in here. Bebop-cat 1, mouse 0. I guess he's still got some of his mad hunter skills from being a stray as a kitten. He got so forlorn looking when Mom took it away that she gave him a cat treat. ^^; ]

My 18 year old feline Mo could care less about a real live mouse. His 8 year old roommate, however, dropped a live one on my lap a few months ago. That was GREAT. My cats 0, Mice 1.

XD Ohman, I would have *freaked*. I'm not afraid of 'em, and I don't think they're gross or anything (like my mother was all freaked out about its germs) but that would have startled the heck out of me. As I'm sure it did you. XD The cat was probably like all proud of himself I imagine, the whole bringing you a gift thing or trying to teach you how to be a mighty hunter, too, or something. ^^
