And there is a mouse in the house (brazen little bugger that ran across the floor in broad daylight, or fluorescent light, whatever). This explains why the cats have been freaking out and manic for days. Though the fact that there is still a mouse after several days considering the whole four cats thing verifies that they are all dumb as bricks.

[Re-edit: Man, it was all Discovery channel in here. Bebop-cat 1, mouse 0. I guess he's still got some of his mad hunter skills from being a stray as a kitten. He got so forlorn looking when Mom took it away that she gave him a cat treat. ^^; ]

XD Well, okay, at least three of the four were trying. For days. So I suppose I have to at least give them A for effort. ^^ The youngest one's the only one with any real true feline ability though, and actually did get it. The one that didn't even try though, I'm so gonna still tease her :p She's such a prissy, princessy, prima donna--even the near 22 year old cat gave a shot at it, but not that gal. XD

My 18 year old feline Mo could care less about a real live mouse. His 8 year old roommate, however, dropped a live one on my lap a few months ago. That was GREAT. My cats 0, Mice 1.

XD Ohman, I would have *freaked*. I'm not afraid of 'em, and I don't think they're gross or anything (like my mother was all freaked out about its germs) but that would have startled the heck out of me. As I'm sure it did you. XD The cat was probably like all proud of himself I imagine, the whole bringing you a gift thing or trying to teach you how to be a mighty hunter, too, or something. ^^

XD That could be. It's funny how today, I was trying to get him interested in their usual cat toys, and he wasn't having anything of it. Like his whole attitude was "I had a COOL toy yesterday and it was furry and moved and tasted AWESOME and I am HUNTERCAT RAR these other boring toys suck". Now he's just got to settle for watching birds at the feeders outside the windows again, and I imagine that isn't quite the same. ^^

♥ ♥ ♥ YES \o/ You get cookies for recognizing it! \o/ I blame fandom for me being nuts for it. There's one fan video out there that uses the song, which made me go and find every single mp3 that was being sold on Amazon. >_> Then I stalked Amazon more until the CD they released last year finally was sold as mp3s as well (the cost for the imported physical copy was high :x ). Such awesome music! \o/
