Finally...

whitereflection--got OPPD to install the whole house surge protection. It's only been, what, four months on that? Eh. Least it's done.
--paid the looming credit card bill. Tight now, but with being frugal on the going out to eat thing, and stopping our 'allowances' until after the first of the year, we should recover quick and get set for Christmas. It may be more of a 'trinket-gift' holiday than I prefer, but I'll make things work.
--finished watching Anj's Azumanga Daioh tapes last night. Now we just gotta find those last eps. of the series.
--went to a group gathering with Katherine present, and had it go ok. I've all but been avoiding her for a month now, but this went well. I know I can't be close with her any more, but I'm glad we can be decent and good-natured in each other's presences. Now maybe we can get back to the usual anime nights without feeling like the other shoe's gonna drop when I'm not expecting. Oh, and A Knight's Tale is kickass funny.
--lost my damned voice. XP I shoulda known this was gonna happen, as this cold's given me that borking cough just like last spring. I just was only a little hoarse this am, so I guess I thought I was gonna get away without that happening. But 8 hours later... Poo. I shouldn't have done the above two items, as I think it was pushing myself too hard. I'll deal though, and I shall crash and have absolute-complete-total rest very very soon. Mmm, the Vicks 44E (demon-spawned medicine!) is making sleep really lovely-appealing.
