Okay, a confession. I have only read one BigBang so far. :x I'm fail, I know--I just haven't been good at focusing on long fic, and have been reading a lot of 5k-10k and type length stuff. And I've just been in this mood where I want/need stuff that's lighter, and a lot of BigBangs have been so serious, angsty, dramatic, or the sorts that really make you hurt until the end. So...I've kind of been avoidant, even when it's stuff written by people on my flist and I should read because I do care for you all and think so highly of the work you've done. D:

But this is that one BigBang, and I adore it so. I've been so excited for it since I heard the premise, because c'mon, J2 and D&D in one? SCORE \o/ It makes my fangirl and my fangeek heart happy. And this is delightful. It's fun, exciting, action and adventure-filled, as well as sweet and adorable and b'awwww ^____^ ♥ She mixes the story with the game world/mechanics so smoothly and so well (and trust me, it's difficult to do that)--and it's something that's cool to read both if you're a D&D player and even if you've never heard of the game at all. Give it a try! ♥ And the art's really nicely done, too~

*Okay, shutting up now. Sorry for the extra spam today. ¬_¬; I also still fail at responding to comments D: Eleven days worth omg, I'm so sorry, I suuuuuuck T__T

"The next spnland apocalypse is coming! "

Not fast enough, that's for damn sure. Also, Lucifabulous may be my new favourite word.

I really liked the Big Bang, 'Kisses Sweeter Than Wine'. If you like food and cooking, you should like it. Both Js are chefs and there are a few underground restaurants feautured, which I thought was rather original. Lots of food talk though, it made me hungry.

I have to confess that I haven't read many others. Some people on my flist liked 'A Theory of Convergence'. And I started reading 'Supercross', but I haven't had time to finish it. I went a little insane and signed up for too many challenges at once. Lol.

What do you do over at Spnland?

Spnland is where all the participants are divided between three teams (Hell, Heaven and Hunter), and we're given a series of challenges to compete against each other. Like there's writing challenges--like drabble, short (like 100-500 words), long (min 1000 words), poetry. There were graphics challenges involving making icons, headers and banners, and media challenges for making videos, fanmixes, real life crafts/art. We had a comment spam challenge and some interactive team challenges (like a round robin writing one, and a couple challenges where members of each team would take turns altering an image).

And there were all sorts of games--bingo, word finds, crosswords, guessing games, and so on. It was a lot of fun, and a person could either go crazy and try to do it all, or pick and choose which challenges to do (there's a minimum participation, but it's not a lot, really). The next round of it starts pretty soon, so I'm looking forward to what they come up for us all this time. :)

YOU HAVE TO READ [livejournal.com profile] cherie_morte's & [livejournal.com profile] wutendeskind's BBs! Cherie's is J2 and Wutendeskind's is Sam/Dean and both are different but both SO AWESOME!

I admit, I've only read two bb fics other than those I mentioned (which I got to read early because I was a first reader for both) and I enjoyed them as well. There is so much fic and so little time. I think I'll be reading bbs until Christmas.

[livejournal.com profile] spnland sounds like fun.
