whitereflection: (WTH DID YOU SCREW UP NOW)
[personal profile] whitereflection
Christ why'm I still up. Can't even blame sleeping earlier, because Dad called after I'd maybe dozed 15min and then wanted to be *chatty* forever (oh, genetics...).

Anyway. Comics! http://dcisgoingtohell.com/ is adorable and funky and quirky and bizarre and adorable! I want a pet manticore. :B Reread http://hanna.aftertorque.com/ and I flail that it updates slowly but it is worth it for the awesome. And have I linked http://www.bearfoo.com/ at all yet? It was a print comic originally, and it's being rereleased on the web and maaaaan, it is weird and wrong and it makes me laugh.

I will finally spend that Amz gc my brother and his gf gave me for Christmas because I discovered Mumford & Sons' Sigh No More is FINALLY out as a mp3 album, so it is cheeeeap and not omgimport priced. GLEE. ♥ Though not sure if I should get those new Gorillaz and Peter Gabriel ones, too, because I still haven't gotten Porcupine Tree's The Incident or Nil Recurring (not mp3 format, though) or Iron & Wine's Around the Well--and gdi, Assemblage 23 has a new one out, too? (Compass). And I'd really wanted Tomcraft's Versus EP, and a there's been a few single mp3s... Criminy. Not much gets crossed off that wish list anymore. Makes me appreciate lastfm's free mp3s so very much, because even if that's stuff I've not heard of, at least it's something new to try.

Loved the [livejournal.com profile] spnland media and game challenges this week ♥ And yay, more icons to do for the art comm (I suck at graphics, seriously so, but I love doing 'em, sooo...). Think I'm going to fail at submitting anything for the meta *and* for the news article ones, though. Because I'm awesome like that. Fail fail fail.

I saw Mumford & Sons on Craig Ferguson the other day. They were awesome! I totally want to look into their stuff.

I was going to try and do the news article. I'm not a writer at all, but I figured even I could write 100 words for participation points. I was wrong.

I saw Mumford & Sons on Craig Ferguson the other day.

(Gah XD; *dorks* Sorry. Was just as I clicked submit that the brain finally kicked in gear and I realized that Craig Ferguson is probably a TV thing? Gah...for some reason I read on as at, and sounded like the name of a bar or club or something. Or I'm still befuddled from low amounts of sleep, I don't know \o/ Sorry, I'm a dumbass and a spazz today. ^^; )

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA LUCKY!! I want *SO* badly to be able to see them live, and I know they'll never get remotely close to where I live (Omaha, NE). And I can't go traveling to see them...argh \o/ I'm so envious. XD I'm so besotted with them--and it's all the fault of one Supernatural video that used the song Little Lion Man (ever see that vid? I bet I still have the link somewhere...)

Re: the news article-- *hugs* Tbh, the more I think about it, the more I feel like it's not a big deal to miss stuff. We'll do what we're truly enthusiastic and excited for, and that'll be the most fun anyway. Not fun if we're forcing ourselves to do one of the bits. So we really shouldn't feel bad about it. :) ♥

You not knowing about Craig doesn't mean that you've never seen the greatest interview EVER(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQOXEIwFwfs), does it? Because that's just wrong.

I don't think I've seen that vid, and I don't know what they sang, but I know it was pretty awesome.

Usually I just stay away from the writing challenges, because I'm not good at them at all, and they just stress me out. Graphics and Games though, I'm all over those. Have you done the puzzles yet? The last one was BRUTAL.

I had not seen this, I had noooooooot, oh my god this is *hilarious*!!! XD Man, even your talk show hosts are better than ours, it's not fair. :p I miss having access to Canadian TV (when I lived in Bellingham, WA a year in high school, and the times I visited my mother when she lived up in Seattle). But ohman, JDM is utter awesome, and Craig Ferguson is freaking funny, I love this interview. XD

http://killabeez.livejournal.com/299964.html <--spn video to M&S's Little Lion Man, which I think is still my favorite song of theirs.

I am so loving the graphics and games! 8D I didn't expect to get into the graphics, because there's so little I'm capable of doing, but I'm enjoying it so! So, oh well! \:D/ And yeah, I looooved those puzzles :D It was way more fun than I would have expected--SO agreed on that last one. It took forever XD But I so was \o/ after finishing. It's surprised me, but I think the games/media have become my favorite of the whole spnland deal--especially when we can do stuff sort of interactively, like the image alteration. ♥

They did a movie/actor game the last time that was so much fun! They'd start off with the name of an actor and someone had to comment with a movie that actor had been in and then the next person had to comment with a different actor that had been in that movie and then a movie that person had been in etc etc etc. It was awesome. One of my flisters and I were up all night going back and forth with it. I really hope they do it again.

That video was so good! I'm really going to have to look into some of their music when I'm not so poor.

Something like that movie/actor game would be fun as freaking hell 8D

And ugh, I can totally understand on the budget vs. music thing--maybe I can get a bit uploaded to Mediafire this weekend. I'll poke back when I do!

Thank deities for wikipedia o_o I had no idea that was a US talk show! Just assumed it was Canadian since I never hear about it like I hear about Leno/Conan/etc etc etc. And my mother was just asking what I was laughing so hard at, and even *she* knows about Craig Ferguson. I obviously live in a cave under a rock! \o_O/

I'm not sure when it actually comes on, but here it's on at like 3:30 in the morning, so it doesn't exactly get a lot of hype. I love Craig though.
