In spnland news, did a banner and a couple icons for one challenge. Thank god it wasn't a 'vote on it' type >_< I suuuuuck at that sort of thing. See:

Though, to be honest...I kind of like how the banner turned out. >_> I might add it to my profile page. I need to catch up on challenges though >_< Going to skip the meta one though, I think. I just...I'm terrible at that style of thinking, and with having started with season five, I just don't feel like I know enough to come up with some sort of thesis/argument thing (catching up via a few eps, spoilers, ep summaries, and a metric ton of fics just doesn't quite give the depth of knowledge :p ). But mainly it's because I really, really suck at that sort of thinking. Essays and papers were not fun in school :( Even if I bs'ed my way to A grades on 'em. (Just happy I finished the LJ entry challenge \o/ So freaking nervous that I'll be told I did it wrong. My stomach's practically in knots.)

Not really, I've mostly been working on my BB. I taught myself how to do crochet after years of not doing it. I had learned when I was a kid from my grandma. I'd check out The Happy Hooker, that's what helped me learn it again.

I put that book on my amazon wishlist so I could remember it--if I keep wanting to try crochet again, I'll pick it up. And I have a couple friends that would be full of GLEE if I did and would probably want to teach me. They've been trying to get me into crochet, knitting, and cross stitch with them for ages.
