Not an exaggeration, not some woman-hypercritical-of-minute-flaws sort of thing--fat fucking bastard. Huge. I know eating 'healthy' has always been sort of miserable and a failure for me, but hell, I've got to do something. At least quit with the eating when bored or to fix a mood thing--cut out the medicating with ice cream, that sort of stupidity. But something. Dear self: You know you are seriously disgusting, right? Right? Right.
Anyway. Off to get cats to the vet, local ren faire deal with Mom, Dave, and Shannon later.

Date: 2008-05-11 02:37 pm (UTC)I've managed to lose 26 pounds since late January using this site (http://www.thedailyplate.com). I never thought I'd get into calorie counting, but it's working for me. I still eat a lot of the foods I liked, but I'm eating less of them. For ice cream, I get the Weight Watcher fudge bars. They're big, and only 110 calories. The latte ones are only 90. They taste great, too.

Date: 2008-05-14 11:27 pm (UTC)Haven't bought any yet, but the WW ice cream things really looked surprisingly decent. That might help since I'm so horridly weak to ice cream. I know people can and do just eat *right*--but if I try to stop eating something entirely, I give up and don't try to eat healthy at all. Bah, it's all such a try, try, try again sort of thing.
Congratulations on doing so well o_o That's really impressive. I'll use you as inspiration as I start on this :D Honestly, I can't remember the last time I lost anything.
