There is something special about a morning, the first morning of the year, where you realize fall is on its way. It's going to happen. Maybe not right away, perhaps a few weeks or month more, but soon. Just a bit of a taste that makes me inwardly cheer Yes. Summer's finally starting to falter, and you sure as hell won't see me performing any heroic measures to save it.
