whitereflectionSo we've once again traded the exhaust and diesel for heat. They seem to have to shut the AC off during the day for some construction bit--so yesterday in our department it was 84-86 all day. Today, at 8 in the fuckin morning it was already 84. They were just checking temps a few minutes ago and it's 87, 89 in some of the offices.
87. 89. I just...such hate. And it's so damned humid, and is 95 or so outside and I...just HATE. Hate this weather, hate summer, HATE our dean and administration who just expects us to put up with this bullshit. Anj and Kelly took the afternoon off--I can't, what with recent sick leave, upcoming vac time, and the fact that I'm buried and trying to catch up before the con trip.
And then they act surprised when we get bitchy, and shush us if we grouse too loudly. I HATE PEOPLE. Especially people in charge. They can go get screwed by a shark or something, I dunno.
Also, MUCH hate for my ex-supervisor and that retarded ass monkey of a student worker. Same old same old, but it pisses me off. And not just because I'm irritable from the heat. (By the way they always turn the AC on in the afternoon so it's *just* starting to improve by the time most of us go home LOLOLOL. Pfft.)
