I knew there was a reason I haven't tried to write guysex like this in...what, eight years? Give or take. Bad enough that I--no lie--broke out into giggling when I typed the word 'cock'. (Ffs, I've read these sort of things for how damned long now? Even've had the words in my head all damned day and it was *fine*. ) Then blargh, it just all falls to bits. I've just been words words words words words *all week*, finally in the home stretch and then I get giggly and *then* it grinds to an absolute and utter halt as Yay! the words just disappear somewhere. Hours on this bit now, and I've managed to eek out maybe three (tiny) paragraphs of it.

Also, had another moment there of thinking I was 34, which is still like a couple months early. Was gonna go 'am I 34 or 3+4 = 7 hur hur' when I was like...wait, I'm 33.

And it doesn't help to have an outline to refer to when the whole rest of the scene is summarized by one bullet note: "teh pr0n". Oh, way to go, me. /golfclap

10K+ words though, before it all locked up. Suppose that's worth something.

WELCOME TO MY WORLD. *falls over giggling* No, seriously...that's pretty much exactly how I feel about writing porn (and I've so totally done that one-line note on the outline, only I think mine said "Smut Goes Here").

I...I don't even have any tricks to share to try to make it better. The best thing I've ever been able to come up with is the gung-ho approach of not second-guessing myself at all, writing down every single thing that drops into my brain the moment I think it, and then, at the end, looking back to see whether it was even anatomically possible, much less sexy.

Er, unless you count the times when I'm at work, spending half my day thinking very intently about boysex, so I can outline the porn. The porn. Dear god.

COWORKER: Hey, can you help me--
COYO: NO.
COWORKER: But...but why--
COYO: I'M THINKING ABOUT PORN.
COWORKER: .....
COYO: .....
COWORKER: All day?

I'm having that same age weirdness thing too, lol! I'm 28, but sometimes I think "I'm almost 30" so often that I start to think I'm already there! So funny. ^_~

Oh maaaaaaaaaaaan, read that coworker and you bit while I was talking on the phone to Mom, and I swear she must wonder why I just start cracking up out of nowhere at times--but she never asks. XD;; Probably a good thing.

But to be honest, I had definitely spent the whole day thinking about teh pr0n, and had imagined how all the words were gonna go, which was why I was so very irked when they went poof. Damned words are such little teasing tarts /shakes fist Sleep helped (damned insomnia the night before kinda had me crashing I think). That and the whole daydream in the shower trick. And a canned coffee drink. :D :D I'm so going to dedicate this to caffeine, just watch me, I will~! ♥

Suppose it wasn't surprising to have trouble with the bit though. That time I wrote something years ago was the one and only time I've ever attempted it (and oh god was it fangirl bad). I never usually feel inclined to include sex. (Brain: OH HAI GUESS WHAT *REALLY* NEEDS TO BE PART OF THIS FIC Me: OH GOD NO Brain: HA HA HA) Now I truly feel for you in regards to the whole INSxYou thing.

I adore that icon. XD! I write so rarely and so little that it almost doesn't count. The videogame Kingdom Hearts II lately, though I've done a little with Prince of Tennis and Gundam Wing awhile back. And I'm serious on the very little bit--it's maybe a couple-few things for each fandom, usually in the 1000-1200 word range. Often fewer. Only on my last couple ficbits did I ever get to like 1500-1600. I'm a slacker. XD; I tinker with poetry, too, but again, very few words.

Anyway, the current thing I'm working on is for http://community.livejournal.com/springkink/profile, which is an awesome comm for readers and writers, imo. ♥ *pimps* :3

Hah, yes, exactly! I'm 34 33, married for over a decade, I've read fanfic since about 1998, voraciously read romance novels of EVERY type between age 13 and my mid-20s, snooped at magazine and video porn since my teens, hentai stuff since my 20s...yet I giggle to write sex. Yeaaaaaaah, my brain makes sense. Though I was the kid in gradeschool where if someone said the word "toilet plunder", I'd about fall out of my desk giggling. I suppose some things never change. :D

And thank you ♥ Wasn't a daily total, but for the week, but not bad yeah. :) I think that's why I tend to write maybe around a thousand words in a fic-bit, because things grind to a halt that soon. XD;

I'm vaguely familiar with KH, and so I can infer that KH2 is similar but I'd be lost with either fandom, lol!

Ah! springkink is something I've seen migrating throughout my flist! Is it a request comm? And then you fulfill others' requests? Sounds like a great idea! XDDD *goes to see* I hope you post a link when you're done with your project! XD

Also, my friend ronsard wrote an Axel/Roxas fic recently that I enjoyed without even being in that fandom. :D So if you're interested, you might want to check out her stuff. She has a list of her fics at the top of her journal, and it's the first KH story she's written (so far).
