Nov. 1st, 2006 08:41 pmFinally read Pratchett's latest, Wintersmith, and really liked it, very much. But then again I love anything to do with the Nac Mac Feegles (Wee Free Men). Lot of good quotes in the book (definitely a few good ones in the chapter involving some travelling librarians), but this one near the end really struck me:
"And, as always happens, and happens far too soon, the strange and wonderful becomes a memory and a memory becomes a dream. Tomorrow it's gone." (p.313)
...yeah.
