whitereflectionBeen kinda quiet lately, but not much's been up. Guess I should put something here, though.
Friday eve. had the usual group over and we continued to watch second season Saiyuki. The Hong Kong subs still suck bad, but not *quite* as bad, so we're puttin g up with it. This is probably the first show where I've so looked forward to the commercial release (yeah, I can get the general idea of what's going on, but I know I'm missing a ton of details). Ohwait, I think YuYuHakusho would be another show in th a t category. Damn these companies for liscensing shows before they can be completely fansubbed. Bah.
Anyway, Katherine's still being abrasive, but she's at least pretending to be nice, so I'm just shrugging it off. Half of us still really are done p u tting up with Gina, but I honestly can't see a way of not having her around, considering she's been a friend since college, and James and Anj still very much like her.
Saturday wasn't much different--went over to Anj's and watched a ton of Futurama. L ov e that show. But yet again I showed my extra unique talent of eating many Pixy Sticks, only to fall asleep. Don't ask me what's up with that. *sigh* Spent much of the day dl-ing stuff off Gnutella, so now I have a ton of stuff from the Office Space s oun dt rack, including quotes, and a huge bunch of Rammstein songs. Lot of 'em are from a live concert, tho, so I'll probably replace 'em with album tracks. Go, go and listen to Engel and Feuer Frei. Especially Feuer Frei. Bang bang! Yeah. Heh.
Am e xtraordinarily restless today. Dunno why. I've got the worst urge to drive down to KC, just to eat at the Rainforest Cafe. I wanna go to Worlds of Fun, too, but I know there wouldn't be time for that. Wonder if I could talk anyone into the drive an d Cafe, tho, after Michael's service. Doubt it, but it's worth a try, I suppose. I guess it's just...ever since the con, I've been various shades of bored. And I know this will sound strange, but for me, being truly bored is like dying very, very slowly. Life is far too short to not have something interesting going on. So I need to get something interesting happening somehow.
...and I'm realizing that in the midst of saving for the iPod, and all this cel aquisition, that I still need an electric gui tar. I very, *very* much want one. I want to teach myself how to play. And I want one that's a deep metallic red like Shun's from Duel Jewel. ^^; Yeah. Dunno how the hell I'm gonna get one, but I'm...*pondering* finding one cheap somehow and aski ng i t fr om James for my birthday. I was going to ask to use birthday funds at Anime Iowa, but all I'd really want there is cels, and I don't think any of the major cel dealers hit that con. So maybe instead I should finally get the guitar. Am gonna have to think a bout that, check out Ebay and the pawn shops, keep an eye on sales at Mars Music. Or something like that. *shrugs*

*glompshugglestacklespouncessnuggles* I am *so* glad to see you back--I hope the trip was bunches of fun. :) (I was just thinking about you yesterday, wondering what was up!) Man, a Saiyuki game, though...I wonder if it'd work in any PS1, or just ones with import chips. God, it'd rock, I bet.
Hope it's not too hard to get back into normal life and work and stuff--do take it easy on yourself! :)
