Blargh. Rargh. Pretty much in the mood to hiss at anyone who comes near. Short-tempered's been an understatement of late. So anyway, mood. Yeah. And violently tired (probably connected, yeah, yeah, I know).
Anyway. Molten Core was a fascinating experience. Difficult, intense, and requiring such teamwork, tactics and focus that it's almost like being a military unit--but fascinating. It's actually not long, with not that much to fight--but it takes freaking hours to make any headway at all, because every single battle is like a boss battle elsewhere. With it having its own uberbosses, to boot. So they'd taken down two bosses Saturday, we got one more Sunday. There looks to be return trips planned tonight and/or tomorrow night. I think I'm going to stop buying potions for MC and Onyxia though--my character's going broke.
Went on a Scarlet Strat run last night, that should've been a lot shorter. People were being sloppy. I got assigned the main assist role, which I'd only observed but never done before, so I kind of sucked at it. Kept getting my stealth/sap blown (yay for all that talent spec-ing that's acting useless). And made one really dumb move that nearly led to a whole party wipe. I'm pretty sure the group thought I was crap. But got good shoulder equipment from the boss. Suckass roll, too. But I shouldn't have had to roll--was equipment basically intended for rogues. But the group was sloppy on loot rules as much as on play. Only someone having fscked up when they did the dice-roll command, effectively rolling on another item, got me the gear. Whee.
Tonight need to sign on absolutely immediately after getting home, if I'm going to nab a spot for the MC stuff. Will be even more chancy trying to do so tomorrow, with my allergy shot after work and all. But will try. If I don't get a spot either night, I'll just go to bed or something. Could use the sleep. If there weren't so many rogues, I wouldn't rush--it'll take them forever to assemble 40 people. But my class is one of the first to fill up, almost always. Least I can deal with the cat and stuff like that after I claim a spot, while they try to find healer and caster types that there's never ever enough of.
Have to have my 15 minute visit with the new dean at 10:30. Fifteen minutes can seen like for-damned-ever, when a person is absolutely not in the mood for stupid smalltalk and cheerful socializing. Barf. Just get me to my damned cubicle.
