I think I've done maybe two hours worth of work today. I keep doing things like this. Or talking to people. Or reading what I should be cataloging. Etc. Added on, I keep saying stupid things. Or doing stupid things. Or doing things that I should check with X, Y, and Z persons first, but I go ahead and do them anyway. Because I am an idiot. Someone slay me now, before I get any more useless and waste any more resources.

That is why I was such a bad library worker. I would read EVERYTHING that came through my desk. I worked in AV and periodicals, and I read every damn magazine I saw. Just everything. Even Good Housekeeping. >_>;;

Oh well, met my gf at that job, so it all worked out okay. ^_~

Library loooooooove<3 ^^ Sorry, I find the concept cute (and to take it to the extreme, probably why I dig certain djs out there *heh*)

But yeah, can I relate. -_- When I worked in circ and shelving/building ops as a student, I read when I should have been doing other things. Then when I came back as staff in reference/circ and now in cataloging, it continues... I'm doomed. T_T But it is a fun sort of doom. : ) (And our dept. adds the security strips to the new periodicals, and only my sheer competitiveness to do more than my coworkers--I always beat my supervisor, but our student worker almost always gets at least 2 or 3 more than me >_>--keeps me from reading those. Usually. ^^;; )
