Is it sad that the highlight of my morning is adding new icons? Y/Y (Circle one.) Now to just hope that more people are working on 5D's ones, as I'd really like some from the recent episodes.

Speaking of recent eps, watched 9 raw. And mmmmm, this series is *much* more dark and gritty than the original (or I'm guessing GX, though I haven't seen it). Not as cartoony-kiddy. There's a lot of violence, and Yuusei is getting whumped a *lot* and I really, really, really like that :x wtf. Let me tell you, the voice actor for him, Yuya Miyashita, can *scream* like no one else. It's almost beautiful :x and it gives me goosebumps. I am such an awful, awful, sick person. D: D:

Didn't have to do Gorefiend last night, as the group ran out of time ♥ Instead, we bumped off Doomwalker for the first time in one try (he's outside of the Black Temple instance). And looks like we're spared for this raid week again, as we're scheduled to work on Vashj Sunday instead. Hopefully *this* time we actually have the raid happen.

Some of the things at work are so ridiculous that the group of us spent our department meeting at times laughing nigh-hysterically. At one point we could barely get ourselves back under control. It's just so *ludicrous* some of the things going on. In my opinion, our motto (instead of "Beyond Books" /spit) should be Criss Library: We Told You So. (I love how some around here say Crisis Library. AhahaHA.) Sadly, the brain drain/personnel bleed continues--found out that my dept. chair is leaving for a PhD program. Very much a bummer, that.

The Vatican is slamming the door on attempts by women to become priests in the Roman Catholic Church. It has strongly reiterated in a decree that anyone involved in ordination ceremonies is automatically excommunicated.

Wow. *Wow*. Way to crack that fucking whip. I mean, because it's so along the lines of apostasy and heresy. I suppose they're likening it to schism, but *still*. The harshest thing they can do to their believers? Honestly. I'm still very confused on faith and spirituality, but this to me seems another example of the way organized religion is screwing up the simple act of being a believer and worshipping. Leadership like this is so why I could never myself be Catholic.
