Gods help me, I'm listening to Christmas music already. I should be flailed and smited! ^^;;; Actually been sneaking listens to the two TransSiberian Orchestra Christmas CDs for about the past two weeks--but now I've also started in on my four Mannheim Steamroller CDs. I can't help it, waugh!! *flails about*
Not that I haven't been starting to get ready in small ways. No, no decorating yet--won't do much this year anyway--but I have started on my usual rounds of catalog and internet Christmas shopping as of yesterday. Have gotten a couple things out in the stores, too (gonna have to do a little more, but dear god, not this next weekend). Even spent some time yesterday assembling the things I'm giving most folks--if you can call it assembling. Just a little something I have to do to put 'em together. I like needlenosed pliers! >D
It just seems odd to be doing anything for Christmas yet--like it's too early. But I know if I don't get started now, I'll run outta time. Gotta get cards together, finish tape copying so I can send stuff off to folks with Christmas things, get all my gifts soon so I have time for wrapping and mailing... Doesn't help that we're going outta town to Seattle for the Christmas-to-New Year's break, so I need to get everything for folks here ready early, and give it before we go.
Mom's excited though--a month away, and she's already preparing to go into HyperMegaSuperTourGuideMode. ^^ It will be a blast, I know. I just adore being in Seattle anyway. I need this next month to fly by--but I need to be able to get everything done, too. Yeah, I don't want much. ^^;;;

Date: 2002-11-24 09:12 pm (UTC)Thanks, darlin', just the thought makes me feel more at peace and now I think I'll go and put in the CDs in the bedroom system and try to sleep.

Date: 2002-11-26 11:10 am (UTC)Although listening to this stuff again really makes me wish I had the software necessary to do AMVs. I'd love to do a GW: Endless Waltz video to "Auld Lang Syne" on Mannheim's newest Christmas CD (I think that's the one that came out last year). Ah well, some day I'll do it. :)
*extrahugs* Be sure to take care of yourself and find ways to destress some as the holiday hubbub builds up as usual. Love ya bunches!
