whitereflectionI swear this is the exact same cold I had, what, a month ago? Was it even that long. I mean, the exact same cold. -_- I'd at least like something a touch different, for variety's sake, ya know? Only did a half day of work, and spent the rest of the afternoon sleeping. Am trying to keep awake for a few hours now, so I don't end up awake at 3am. Bleh. I so dislike feeling like this.
At least I made it in to work to take my 'treats' in--we have this thing in the fall where people bring in baked goods to sell, to raise money for the holiday party. A lot of folks have just been buying donuts, which seemed like cheating to me--especially if they were nasty grocery store donuts. I made cookies (from frozen dough) and a couple types of muffins (from boxed mixes). So not from scratch, but not cheating by just buying 'em either.
I hate my oven, tho. It's ancient (what, 20-30 years old or more?), and not only runs 50 degrees hot, but cooks the most unevenly I've ever seen in an oven. And I still can't get used to gas over electric, and it's been a year. We may dig into the savings and get a new one soon.
Am getting behind on my email again (and I wasn't ever caught up), but a quick thanks to Lem for the epostcard (*extraextrahugs* Will do a proper thanks asap, hon :) ), and thanks Kenj for the heads up on akanesmallet's lj *hugs to Kenji too for the heck of it*. I dig her layout and icons! XD She even has a nifty little entry about some merchandise to be found out there. ^^ I'm tempted to add her as a friend simply because she's one of the few Azumanga Daioh fans out there I've seen, other than us here--we're not the only ones who have seen it! *dances*
Mmm, time to return to the Di-shaped imprints on the couch. I swear, they were still there from a month ago... >_
