what I did last summer

I bought the iPod
because no one told me I shouldn't
because no one complained it was a waste of money
because no one said
we don't have the room to carry around stupid shit like that
I bought the adapter
because no one used the cassette player in the car
because no one picked the music but me
because no one warned me
I'd start crying in front of some kid working at a Walmart
who stared at me like I was a freak
because they didn't understand what buying an iPod and a car adapter
meant

Thank you! And hi hello back :) Life is pretty okay, all in all. Heh, I think I keep caught up with both because I truly have no life >_>; It's kind of sad. ^^;

Since I'm not working at the moment, I have far too much time on my hands that doesn't get taken up by helping my mother with things or by household stuff. I should do more 'productive' things, but sometimes I feel lousy or my mood goes too low and I don't have the energy for much other than clicking refresh on websites :/ But reblogging, I can *do* that even when I'm at my worst since it doesn't require social interaction.

Believe me, I can completely relate. ♥ I need to get my act together and figure out what in the hell I'm doing with my life - but keeping up with fandom stuff is so much easier to handle mentally and emotionally for me right now...
