The Elko County Adventure, sam/dean, nc-17, 43430 words--crossover with Tremors (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0100814/)
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF ♥ Love this so much. LOVE. I just \o/ So well written, and I could just see this in my head like watching a movie. And holy hell, does it make me nostalgic for when I was a highschooler seeing this movie (over and over) with my family. And good gravy, both the action part of the story and the Sam/Dean parts are so goddanged well-written. I just...LOVE. ♥

And sorry to not have posted in so long. Kind of stuck in my head, hiding/hermitish/hibernating/moody. Apologies (again) for being such a freaking lousy friend these days.

Is it necessary to know that movie? 'Cause I don't. :/
But I usually really love [livejournal.com profile] candle_beck's writing...

Nah, I don't think it's necessary to have seen the movie--everything that gets referenced from the movie is explained in enough detail, and the story totally stands fine on its own. Just having seen it, I have a mental image of the characters and such involved, and a yay\o/ reaction to them. I'd definitely give it a shot, since it's a really, really good fic, good writing. If it starts to seem unclear, maybe check out the brief plot summary on the imdb entry? Though I doubt that'd be necessary.

Haha, yeah, but with >40,000 words you can expect some explanations. *g*

I know. I always love her stories (and her podfics of them even more).

But I don't have time right now. D:
