Which Princess Bride Character are You?

^^ Anyhoo, getting some rain here--it's been sprinkling on and off since yesterday, but it's actually starting to come down harder this am. Not too bad, though--I still tried to drive with my window rolled down part of the way. I think we're finally getting a real taste of fall, with both a break from the summer heat and a break from the summer dryness. It'll probably wobble back and forth some for the next month (the change of seasons makes the weather nothing if not schizophrenic in this region), but I think we'll be staying cooler for the most part. Now to just wait for the leaves to start changing (the concept of which makes me just want to smile contentedly for some reason). I'm starting to crave chili, too--maybe I should make some tonight (Di-style, which means ground beef, tons of chili/kidney beans, tomatoey, heavy on the onions and garlic but mild to medium spice-wise).
Other than that, I've definitely been remembering my comment about that quote from Airplane, because, as I suspected "I picked a hell of a time to quit" being negative. >_< Wednesday was a really trying day (won't go into details tho, I am trying to hold to my resolution)--but suffice to say I had a bizarre encounter with Katherine before the memorial service at Michael's church. >_< (again) Eh. Nothing will be really going on this weekend, as Anj is gone for various reasons, but that's all probably a good thing--this stuff is still settling down and cooling off (but someone is very good at keeping it stirred up, is all I'll say >_> )
Still waiting on that 'fricking cel'--turned out it had been packaged up and the gal had *intended* to get to the post office, but she never made it there. Then she got hugely sick, from what she said, and has been too laid up to get out. Meh. I'm trying to be patient, but when I all but hand someone a big bag o' money (even virtually), I kinda want my item. Especially since I paid six bucks for shipping--come on, for six bucks, I want it here quick, insured, etc. Eh. Patience, patience. I know how it's like to get ill really bad, it's happened to me.
And James finally got his new computer (or have I mentioned that?)--867 mhz of G4 Mac goodness, with all the bells and whistles. I am suffering a good case of computer envy--and a hugeassed case of monitor envy, as he got a 17" flatscreen. *drooooooooooooools* My iMac is not worthy. -_-;
Got to talk with Nix last night, but I was an idiot from being tired and allergy-laden (*sniffssnerks*). I had to wind up the call to crash far earlier than I wanted to. *pouts* I wanna actually *see* Nix, in person and in RL... *sighspoutsflails* I still dunno if I can make the Thanksgiving thing work--it's been briefly *mentioned*, but not discussed at all. And James has been moody last night and this am, so I dunno quite what's up with him. *shrugs* Hmm, I should work on my list of people I wanna call this weekend. *nods*
Oh, and in AMV news, in addition to the great batch I've been getting per Nix's recommendations (Been playing "Life's Gonna Suck", the Moulin Rouge one, "Particle Man", "Nyo is War", "I'm A Cucumber", etc. over and over and over ^^ ), but I finally got my hands on "Grand Theft Bebop". XD Love that one--the anime clips fit the different music pieces just awesomely. But as typical for NHMK there's 45 seconds of intro, tho. >_<; We're still trying to get that dl of the CCS/Silent Lucidity one, tho. I want that one *MUCHLY*. *nodsnods* Tho I wish someone would do a sweetwarmfuzzy CCS one focusing on Touya and Yukito. *hanyaaaaans*
Hm. Work to do, yay. ^^; Oh, one last thing--Kel still has super-black hair from when she dyed it for her Ni costume at AI, and folks at work here have been razzing her that she's going to go goth. *grins* So today she dressed in all black, put on black fingernail polish and black lipstick, and is being GothLibraryPerson. ^^ *hee* I think she'll lose the lipstick before going to her Japanese class, but it's still amusing. Anj just got a picture. *hee hee*
Work! Banzai!! Or something like that!!

We'll have to compare and constrast software goodies sometime. I've got this really great Hiragana program for learning that you can't find anymore, I'll have to send it to you.
