spnland. Many of y'all have heard about it already, lot of my flist already's participating. But they're looking for even more people, so I'm throwing this out there if anyone who's not already a member is thinking 'hmm, maybe...'.
So far it's been great fun :D There's been writing challenges--LJ entries, drabbles, metas, news articles. We've had art challenges, like making headers, banners, icons. There's been games, such as doing puzzles (you know, puzzle piece puzzles) from a few screencaps, bingo, a scavenger hunt, and taking turns doctoring a screencap from the show until it looked faaaabulous~ All sorts of things, and it's been a cool way to meet and interact with other fans/friends.
It can be a lot to keep up with, and keep a person really busy--but the minimum participation required by the rules is only one challenge a month. So sure, there's been 10 or so challenges in the first month, but that means a person would have only had to do one of those 10 things to fulfill minimum requirement. And some things are so quick and easy, it's no problem to try a even few things a month.
So why am I babbling about this all anyway? Guess what one of the latest challenges is? :D Advertising. Sure, I might not have many places I can pimp something likespnland out at--but I can sure as hell do so here! And bam, challenge accomplished. That easy. :D (It'd be even better if I could come up with four other places to pimp it out at, to get the maximum points for 5 places, but hey, this gets a few points at least!)
But most of all--right now there's 40 members of Team Heaven, and 40 members of Team Hunter--and only 38 members in Team Hell. WTF, this Will Not Do! TEAM HELL NEEDS PEOPLES ♥ So come join the fun, folks. :D
