Definitely adding my name to the crowd of people bummed at the death of Corey Haim. He was, yeah, one of my junior high/high school crushes. I never saw many of his films, but I was NUTS NUTS NUTS for The Lost Boys. That film remains my favorite vampire movie of all time, and I still listen to the soundtrack. My best friend at the time was crazy for Kiefer Sutherland, but I was into Corey Haim and Jason Patric.

Already been feeling sorta old lately (five months to 37 wharrgarbl), but having someone who not only was a pop culture icon of yonder teen years but also was barely older than me die, that sorta makes me feel it more.

I've been doing the "you're getting up there and have accomplished nothing in your life. Way to go!" thing for a little while now, it happens every year around this time. This news did not help(neither does the fact that my baby sister is starting high school in the fall). I remember my older cousins being obsessed with The Lost Boys when it came out, and I also remember being terrified of it(I was 6). I totally broke out the dvd to watch later though.

Auuuugh yes. I relate to this, so freaking much. Too much. :x Feel like I did great up through graduating from college, and not been able to get myself together right since.

Heh, we've got the Lost Boys on DVD, too, and I'm so rewatching it today or tomorrow. :)

I'm right there with you babe. But I did see every movie he was ever in. I was so in love with him I couldnt stand it. I am going to watch "Dream a little dream" tonight to honor him.

I went looking for quotes yesterday to find something and ended up using my favorite three (at least of Haim's) for subject, in the text, and adding a tag. XD I loooooved that movie for the quotes. So many other good ones from the other characters.

And I am so rewatching it in the next couple days. Nostaaaaaalgia T__T Though for once wish I could have some sort of Chinese take-out or something to eat along with. :p
