Gas utility company guy checked the entire house over thoroughly yesterday, said everything is absolutely, completely fine. Even the oven O_o (he said the furnace people shouldn't have measured CO right when the oven turned on, but after 20min, to be accurate--he did so, and showed only 9ppm, which is normal). So...no clue why the detectors went off Monday. \o_O/ No idea at all. But things are totally fine. He did say that if there were problems again, to call the gas company first, since they check gas and CO problems for free, and come within an hour.

On the other hand, the water heater was not fine. We were v. lucky that there hadn't been a catastrophic leak the tank base was so rusted. Now have a brand new one. Water heaters are expensive \o/ Yay, homeowning! \o/ (At least it's got a decade+ lifespan...)

WoW related--the guild officership/GM *really* took notice of the problems, and spent much time talking with those of us who were unhappy (even my friend who'd left). They've really turned things around this past week, and are recommitted to being the progression guild we've claimed to be. Even resulted in my friend server transferring back, since he hadn't wanted to leave friends. Cool to see that all happen.

I think my sleep problems flare up during, you know, hormone-y times. Minimal sleep lately, then like 2 hours last night. Should work on the news article entry for [livejournal.com profile] spnland, but holy fuck I am so tired my brain is cement and I cannot think gaaaaaaaaaah. Going to die on the couch for (hopefully) just a bit. Plz salt and burn if it ends up longer than that. ♥

That's weird. But at least you know nothing happened :/

I'll keep my salt and lighter close just in case ;-)

It really actually bugs me that all the repair guys can say is "there's nothing wrong" XD;; I just can't figure how 3 different detectors going off, two for nearly 50 minutes, could happen for just no real reason. But at the least, we've still got the detectors and that new one is really sensitive down to very low amounts--so if the problem happens again, we'll know. And I'll know to call the gas company first thing, and they'll be free.

I'll keep my salt and lighter close just in case ;-)

XD Still alive and kicking--but good to have someone out there prepared! 8D
