Huge-assed spider!!! AUGH! >< *flails*

whitereflectionWhat a way to start the morning--sit down at the computer in a total zombified fog (told ya before that 5 am was an unholy hour), only to look to the right to see a FSCKINGHUGE spider on the doorframe of the room right next to my desk. I mean, that's like a foot away from my head. Eeeeaewugh! >< Thing had to be a good two inches in diameter, and it was *not* all legs--damn was it evil looking. Had no way of dealing with it, either--I suppose I coulda smacked it with my shoe, but the neurons weren't exactly firing yet, so that didn't occur to me. The only thing I could think was that no wad of toilet paper or paper towels could be thick enough to keep that thing's MonsterAssedArachnidCooties offa me. >< Plus I know from experience that fscking huge bugs crunch in a really horrid way, and I just wasn't up to hearing that noise.
So I just backed off slowly and did the CowardAssedChickenWuss scoot to the shower, and by the time I was done, it had disappeared. I can only hope that the cats did their duty to protect the house from ThingsWithExoskeletons and perhaps caught and ate it, but I have a feeling that it's still lurking down in the basement somewhere there. (Especially since our furry beasts don't have particularly good hunting skills--even Bebop's too ADHD, and just leaps about spastically at stuff. Which is probably why he's filled out so well now that all he has to do is stalk food in a bowl, and the occasional HumanFoodItem not being appropriately paid attention to. >_<; ) Good time for me to be gone for the weekend. ^^; Hopefully James and the cats will be intact when I return. ^^;; Heh.
Anyway, darting out of town in a couple of hours (back Monday evening, dunno if I'll have the energy to hop right online tho). I must admit, I wish I could have gotten Nix there somehow, though. *sighs, snuggleshugs Nix from too far away* Miss you, itooshi-ai... Gotta call her when I get back (Rei, too! I must harass him! >D) And AIM, I gotta *ton* of people I've neglected far too long, AIMwise. Bad me! *flails* >_<;; And that con report, gotta do that too, next week, and those ex-Saturn pictures I still haven't posted, I should do that, and...egads. ^^; Lemme stop while I'm ahead. Or while I'm only a little buried/behind. ^^;;
Oh! *dances* Found the second Excel Saga DVD! Wish I coulda watched it last night, but at least it'll be there later. :D Mmm, thanks to the iPod, I can listen to Kazoku Kaigi many times on the trip. *hee hee* And (attempt) to sing (scream) along with. XD
