Oh, right. My insurance switched providers. And because it's via COBRA from the old job, it's all an extra bit slow. So I don't have the new insurance cards (or new insurance provider name) yet. Even though my old insurance already expired. Even though I'm *already paying for the new one*. And of course I find this out when I request two prescription refills today. And of course it's a Sunday so I can't even get in *contact* with anyone until tomorrow. At least the pharmacy says all I need to do for them is find out the new provider name and they'll handle the rest--but I still need to know where my new insurance cards are. These things *always* happen like this, on weekends when offices are closed.

Yeah, got the name of the provider at least, so Walgreens can do the prescriptions. Still need to contact the company and find out where my insurance cards are. >_

Just for the record, I have the most fucked up insurance ever. *shakes head* so I totally feel your pain. I am so sorry you have to deal with this. I hope it can all be resolved on Monday! *hugs*

Ugh, that sucks. :< Seems like I know so danged many people who have bad insurances. It's just so so \o/ argh! And yeah, mostly resolved--at least I've got the provider name so Walgreens is able to file the prescriptions. Just need to get in contact with said company to find out where my insurance cards are and stuff, bleh.

I seriously LOATHE insurance companies. They are just out to make money and could care less about the people. I'm glad you got things straightened out though.
