No kidding >_< I have had many Christmases where pretty much everything I gave was in a giftbag. But then I have some years like this one where I try wrapping again, and remember how godawful I am at it. Next year, bags again I think :|
ME TOO. I bought my mom a spike mat as present, but now that it occurred to me how difficult wrapping it will be, I'm starting to have second thoughts...
Heh, I'd say that's a definite candidate for a big giftbag (if there's one large enough to fit it ^^; ). Or, just stick a bow on it and call it done :D
YES! XD Actually, it's not been uncommon in my family for gifts to be given wrapped in the Sunday color comics. ^^ Or aluminum foil. And once my brother sent a package to my mother wrapped entirely in duct tape (as commentary for her tendency to seal every edge of packages with tape or all but mummify mailed boxes in packing tape ^^;)
Besides the very non-traditional wrapping practices, my family also has a "scavenger" hunt for at least one of our gifts. Meaning we get a clue that will lead us to another clue and so on till we find the gift! Once it took me two days to find the damn thing!
XD XD That would be *fun*. And Happy Holidays to you, too. :) Your holiday plans sound awesome \o/ We're due for 10-14" with high winds between Thurs/Fri so very possibly will end up hiding at home as well instead of going to visit the extended family.
