Sleep schedule is once again messed up. Frustrates me that I have to watch myself like a hawk to keep from it getting so bad--never used to be like this, not until the last few years. Bad enough that 2-3 is my norm, but was up until close to 5 last night. Fffff. -__- Also, monster sinus headache doesn't help.

November is finally acting its temperature, and there was an absolutely massively tubby squirrel out in the birdbath feeder. And head staging a coup d'etat, think it's time to turn lights off.

*hugsback* Aw, thanks. It is a pain :x I wish I could just give in and do nightshift work, but then wouldn't be on the same schedule as the husband and the rest of my family/friends. That wouldn't go over well, heh.

So frustrating D: I just don't get why I never used to be like this. How do you deal with it? :x Am not having much success myself--every time I get close to a more 'normal'ish sleep schedule, bam, it's messed up again.

I know how you feel. It's beyond frustrating. :( I don't deal with it well. I am in this awful pattern of staying up until 3 or 4 and then sleeping until 1 or 2pm and then the day is gone. It's hell, and I feel like hell. So I can't even begin to tell you why I do it. Could you try Benadryl? It usually makes me sleepy but now my body is used to it. :/

Haven't tried any sort of medications or stuff like that--even though yeah, Benedryl definitely puts me out like crazy. Trying to avoid it if possible--though a lot of that stuff tends to stick with me even after waking up, so makes me feel groggy and thickheaded all the next day (hence why I hate being sick, cold medicines mess me uuuuup, even non-drowsy). I'll definitely have to keep that sort of thing in mind though. Might be worth it on the worst nights.

Sorry I'm so late with responding! :P

I understand exactly what you mean, things can definitely put me to sleep but leave me a mess the next day. I have a sleeping pill but I don't take it because it makes me so groggy the next day and it's so frustrating! :(

Have you had any better luck with getting to sleep lately?

Somewhat better luck! Though there's not been any particular thing I'm doing differently, so not sure what's changed it. Mostly been able to sleep by 2, though last night slipped again and was up until 3 (something about 3am, once I hit that it's so easy to slide into 4 and 5). Just have to watch it every night. ^^;

No kidding. >_< I keep trying ways to force myself back to 'normal' and stay that way, but always end up out of whack again. Can't even blame being jobless lately for it--even when getting up at 6 I'd end up with a lot of nights of 2-3 hours of sleep, ugh. Or worse. ^^;
