whitereflectionAm still amused at how bad the Jet Li movie Meltdown was last night. Heh. I'm looking forward to when I can make some time to watch the DVD of Romeo Must Die that Don loaned me.
Tired-mi... -__- My fault for being up until nearly two...but inna way, not my fault. When Don had gotten Diet Code Red *just* because he knew I liked it, there's no way I could not drink it, even if it was after 8 in the evening. ^^; Least I didn't have to wait too long until it wore off, but I'm serious when I tell folks I get manic and maniacally silly and giddy when I'm like that. Nix and Kea can vouch that I tell the truth. ^^
The garage door's fixed (140$ for a blown circuit board and labor--not too bad, compared to what some other folks have had to pay for lightning related repairs), but the phone's still out. The guy from Qwest says the problem's inside the house, so they can't investigate further until we get home and can let them in. We've got their line-backer service, so it still won't cost anything, but I hope they can fix it quick. Especially since James' dad arrives late tonight, and I don't want him to not be able to call out--especially since he's going to need to be able to contact James' younger sister. He's not a cel phone sorta guy, and I don't want him to have to wander over to the pay phones at Bakers or Walgreens or anything... *shrugs*
Speaking of the dad-in-law, I probably won't be online tonight or tomorrow night, since he's around. I'll have to catch folks on Thursday I guess (I hope ^^; ).
Hm. Wish that guy from the power company would return my call about rescheduling setting up the whole house surge protection thing. I've only left him two different messages over the past couple days. :p
Hm (again). I wonder if Kenji got that package ok? And if he and the Florida folks are having fun? *waves* Hi, Kenji, wherever you are! :) I hope things are dandy! Hi and *hugs* to all you guys! (Kenji's and Rei's ljs have been so quiet... *flails*)
Heh. Anj has been wandering around work the past couple days muttering, "Puchiko, you're so tall!" "Put me down." ^^ I love having digicorrupted her and the others.
Ohyeah, and the big news for next week: Wednesday the 7th is when James heads out for GenCon with Don and Norman. They leave super-early that morning, so I've got the place all to myself the 7th through...Monday the 12th? I think that's when they're coming back. :D It's gonna be rather cool, actually. I just wish I had someone who could come up to visit. I'm tempted to go out of town over that weekend, but not sure yet. *ponders* Should I try for Witchita at all...?
The second lesson is tonight--should go ok, but I haven't practiced nearly enough to be truly comfortable. I mean, I only got in three practices over the past week, and two were really rushed. :p I really do prefer to spend more time on it. *hugs Unmei* I like my guitar muchly...!
Oh, hoping that Bradon's trip goes safely, and that he has fun. Gonna miss him from the chats, tho. I mean, it's just not the same when it's all us gals--he puts the 'he' in hentai! ^^ And he's gonna kill me if he ever sees that comment, I think. Heh.
