Armed with my anger. And my fork.
Jul. 8th, 2008 08:30 amAuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh, so hooooooooooooooooot... T___T Already 84+ in the offices. At least the administration is aware of the situation and has been tracking it, and is in contact with the architect/construction people and facilities on campus to get them to resolve the damned situation already. Of course I forgot my hairclip, but there's no way I'm leaving my hair down--so yoinked a rubber band from Kel's supplies and braided it back.
Best icons ever!! http://community.livejournal.com/mignolagraphics/60281.html LFG comic quotes icons, and oh they amuse me. Need to somehow make space for a couple. Somehow. Ahahaha.
Dinner out with the family tonight. Will be the last one we do with my brother and his gf around, as they move to Denver very soon for Dave's new job.
WoW: still enjoying my hunter alt like crazy much. Ohia's very near 59, one more lvl until I get get her epic raptor mount, a new quiver, and hit Outlands (could go at 58, I want to wait for 60). Also hit 300 engineering, so will soon be able to drop mining for herbs, and have Ak send her the ore for later eng skillups. Just need her cooking/fishing to 300 then, and will be fully set. Was surprised to find I was enjoying her being in Silithus, a bit--it's a lot prettier than I remember, in that bleak, bug-infested way. There was this desert tornado that was just gorgeous and impressive as hell to look at. Either they've tweaked/added more details since I've been there, or I had a lot less graphics power the last time I had toons there.
Ear still massively plugged, and is driving me nuts. And woo for having to drink that pudding I brought for breakfast (yeah, breakfast :p rice pudding=rice and milk, that's good enough, yes). Must remember not to let Kozy Shack brand sit at 84 for long, it goes quite runny.

Date: 2008-07-14 09:46 pm (UTC)But scheduling, argh. Saturdays are kind of weird--usually I've got friends coming over Sat evenings, but lately RL stuff keeps interfering. Like the 19th I'm supposed to go to a wedding reception for a cousin, but I'm sort of tempted to try and get out of that so I can get together with that bunch of friends (haven't done that usual get-together thing in weeks). The 26th, that might be more doable, but I need to check something first. Sorry to be so difficult D: Oddly, usually like Fridays are more a flexible day, but I know that others tend to be busy then (like Harlin).
Whenever we do get this to work, ok if I ask the husband if he wants to come along? Not sure if he'd wanna, but doubt it'd go over well if I told him I was meeting with guild peoples and that he wasn't invited ^^; And has anyone narrowed down place at all? Wouldn't mind somewhere that's got some appetizerish stuff I could buy for folks, if anyone's up for such.
Oh, and heh, yay, they fixed the latest round of AC problems while I was out sick. Seems like it was something the university facilities was screwing up this time. We'll see if it lasts :p Humidity, that can vary, it's usually fairly controlled (can't let the books mildew) but can go up if the air handlers are turned off.
Long response is long >_< Apologies.

Date: 2008-07-15 04:46 pm (UTC)Ok, all good. I was just trying to throw out some date or another. Fridays work better for you, though? I know Harlin and his gal just went through a set of schedule adjustments due to her job and school, more than anything else. Though, stargate started back up, so his fridays may be going back to being taken again. Though I'm sure he could talk to Blair and Leslie and dump a sci-fi night. Rissy I think is generally pretty open so long as you get ahold of him first. As for my brother... i think that's mostly on his work schedule.
I don't think significant others would be excluded. I know that mine probably wouldn't be there as someone needs to stay and watch the kids, but even then her preference for going out is probably not a geek event, same for Daimeon's wife. Harlin's might be down if she's free. Uhm. Yeah, I don't think there would be any issues. The more the merrier and jazz.
I'm trying to think of places to go, and I agree someplace with some foodstuffs would be preferable. Brazenhead pops into my head as a nice fairly relaxed place. So long as I can work things around my wife's work schedule, I could pretty much do any night of the week, even, if weeknights would be okay with people.
Hey, at least you're nice and comfortable at work now!
