So, what I said about caffeine. :| See, normally, I'm just a coffee-in-the-morning sort. Lately it's been coffee-in-the-morning, and diet-pepsi-midday. Today, just to get going, I had to finish the partial bottle of that weird new Mountain Dew flavor right off the bat. Then a frappucino (the mocha mint chip one again, splurging b/c it's Friday). I already know I'm going to have a diet pepsi at lunch, then probably have another one for dinner. Otherwise I will *crash* and die. :| Long week of too many 3-hr of sleep nights. Definitely going to try to break that this weekend, see if I can get back to normal.
Ohwell. Anyway. Dad called last night, and sounds like there's been a *shit*ton of family drama for his side of the family in Seward. Horrible stuff between my cousin and her husband, and I honestly think if I ever see him I will punch him in the fucking face so hard. And some really worrisome health issues with my one aunt (the one who's fighting cancer), that I had no idea were still ongoing. And in more local family stuff, my brother's really pondering finding a job in another city--New York of all things. Major pay increase, but the cost of living there is *awful* and high. :x Seems like a bad time, too, since he and his gf just bought their house last year, and his gf just graduated and is in the process of getting her first real career-type job (and it appears to be a really good one, too). Guess we'll see what happens with all that.
Lotta evenings out the next week, looks like. The concert on the 11th, Don's the 15th, now dinner out with the folks the 17th. Shakespeare on the Green's set to be starting end of the month, as well--wondering if Mom would be up for those.
