whitereflectionIt is, without any sort of exaggeration, absolutely geezusfuck humid outside today. And with clouds that are dark and black-bruised, if we don't get some sort of monster thunderstorm today, I will be sorely disappointed. I expected when I woke up to stay settled in the mope I had going yesterday, but somehow the threat of strong storms (plus the fact that Murphy's Law has pwn3d me and is teabagging my corpse) has made me extremely tetchy. Every little thing--and there are a lot of every little things this morning--is pissing me the heck off.
Was mere moments from just saying hell with it and calling in, was so tired when I got up--but then remembered I have to meet Mom after for grocery shopping anyway, plus there's one of the three reference classes I'm in this week today (wheeeeeee.). It's the social sciences part 1 one, too. *Thrill*. *A*. *Minute*. Yes. I will fall asleep during it? Y/Y/Very Y?
I need some new awesome fic to read today. But man, have been scraping the bottom of the barrel for the last couple weeks as it is, already.
Ahaha, so I was thinking I was seeing the light at the end of the tunnel for the Spanish juvenile books. Had cataloged all but a small stack I wanted the subject specialist for that area to check for young adult items. But now my one coworker has brought me another small stack, and says there's one hundred items still on the invoice list not yet arrived. :D :D :D JOY. Though I guess now that I've done over 250 this last month and will have 300 by the time I finish what's here, another hundred will just be no big deal, right? Yes?
[Ed: Was reminded last night that I need to buy Lacuna Coil music. Why haven't I previously? :|! Guild friend shared an mp3 of Heaven's A Lie last night, is very good stuff. Female vocalist, too. Mmm, gothic metal.]
