The guild got Magtheridon down last night, though we had five warlocks not to mention a full 25man raid, so it almost felt like cheating. I'm like the worst 'lock ever (been so mediocre), but least I clicked the cube when I was supposed to. Clicky clicky~ Usual screenshot is at http://www.nightmarewalking.com/ and I'm not even in the murloc suit for once (sitting down by the crocodile hunter pet).
Stupid HyVee let one of their expensive cheeses go wrong. >:( Had bought a whiskey aged cheddar recently, and it was really good; got it again, and omg, it smells horrid and sour. Can't bring myself to eat it--going to have to throw the whole block of it away, and it was expensive, too. Booooo.
I. I am coming to the point where I *absolutely need* to upgrade my computer. It's performance in-game when the video settings are high as I want them is...weak. I need to decide between a-keep my Mac tower and buy a PC-for-gaming tower; b-buy a PC-for-gaming tower and a Macbook for the rest; c-buy a new Mac tower. All options would be about the same price. So many pros/cons. PC tower would mean really great game performance--I've seen how good it can be on James' and Kat's machines--and would FINALLY allow me to play so many other games (I want Portal I want Portal asfskjdkf), but would make me have to use a Microsoft operating system. BOOOOOOO. Tower/laptop combo would give me the portable machine I've always wanted, both for travel, but also for being able to browse/chat (haha I never chat) away from my desk when I want to couchflop or something. Mac tower would be a very good upgrade and would keep me with a familiar and trusted OS and software, though would not help game options/portability issues. Gah. I dunno. But I need *something*. FFS. I'm tired of my gaming life being choked at 15fps (seriously. I'm lucky to ever see 20fps. Lot of times it's down at 10.) when I have the video settings cracked as high as I want.
At least the peppermint was restocked at Starbucks yesterday. Bumped myself up to ventis the last couple days. :/

Date: 2007-11-29 03:16 pm (UTC)One button mice always were for the lose, especially once I was WoWing. This is why I have http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mice_pointers/trackballs/devices/166&cl=us,en Except the thing needs replacing, stupid gunk and cathair is making the scrollwheel hard to use, and I can't figure out how to get into that part to clean it. :/
