whitereflectionIt is the sort of morning where I mistakenly order a tall from Starbucks instead of a grande. How can a person screw up what size coffee they want? (Especially when they order the same size every time?) What a time to short myself, too, when I couldn't get tired/drowsy until I'd only get 2 1/2 hours sleep.
And of course, was a restless sleep. Was having a very vivid WoW dream (been awhile since one of those...) Sort of like my screw-up-in-raid ones, but this was running a heroic 5man, and messing up in it, and for some reason my succubus pet was gone and the group wasn't stopping so I could recast it and do my crowd control properly. Would have kept going on, but my alarm snapped me out of it.
Mom's off to stay with my brother for the week. I'm so getting used to having her around. :x My cats are especially going to miss her. Speaking of family, going to see a performance of Tartuffe with my brother and mom Friday evening--friend of my brother's is in the starring role, through Iowa Western (is it a community college or university? I have no idea...)
It is fucking cold in our area, esp. in my office. Yays.
Who spilled coffee on themselves yet again? And who's feeling queasy from the lack of sleep/coffee/carmel praline muffin combo? And and who's all cynical about a college football coach sucking ass and thus getting fired with 3$million in severance pay, and about a former pop star utterly fucking up her life and being a skank yet somehow getting to adopt more children after losing her own? (Ans: Gee, I wonder.)
I think I need to find some sort of squooshy feel-good fic today. Yes, I think I do need.
[Ed: Criminy, no wonder it seems cold in here. Is 64 in Anj's office, borrowed her thermometer to see what it's like in mine. Asafkjsdfjfk, can they never *ever* understand the concept of in-the-middle/moderate? FFS.]
