So we got in a book by Richard Wright that I'd requested to add to the collection (I'd say it's because I'm cool, but anyone can do that, and if it clears the subject specialist we get it). Had been surprised with our black studies program that we'd have an African American author's prose but not his poetry--especially since he's a major name in the development of specifically American haiku.
Anyway, the first one (from the book Haiku: This Other World), because I'm always such a dork to see fandom in everything, not just songs.
I am nobody:
A red sinking autumn sun
Took my name away.
Asdfsjk. So Axel and Roxas and Twilight Town and and...*flails*. If I didn't feel like such utter crap (goddamned cold *still*), I'd write fic for it. Because I am that lame.
Anyway. Only did a few hours at work today. Found out that of course their estimated start of pouring cement on the first floor the 19th/20th didn't happen. They're still removing old dirt/cement and filling with gravel, I'm guessing a good week before they're done--so still longer with the crap in the air.
