Today I shall celebrate independence by proving I am free to eat grilled meats and blow stuff up. Woo! XD Seriously, I am a firecracker *fiend*--and not just watching 'em. I wanna actually be the one lighting. I love the light, the color, the noise, the sparking/cracking, the fire the fire the fire BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Eh heh. Erm...anyway. ^^;; Let's just say it's been, what, a good four or five years since I've been able to play with fireworks--so now that I've bought some, I'm rather looking forward to going out tonight (before I was kinda wishing I could just hang out here and IM folks--but come on, it's *fireworks*! :D)

Boy, we're lucky that we just happened to get rain for the first time in forever yesterday and this morning. Wouldn't want the whole city to burn down. ^^ Stay safe, everyone. :) *bunches of hugs for all*a

Excel Saga is my favorite comedy anime. While I miss the little in-jokes that Slow-As-Hell Anime (http://www.generation.net/~azag/) would put into the fansubs, the ADV disc is great. Even the dubbing is A+ work, although for my money you can't beat the original cast.

:D Yeah! I just got hooked on it after seeing eps a friend showed me at Akon. Now I've watched some of the Slow-As-Hell eps on my computer, and am rewatching it on DVD... ^___^ And I've told friends here that they *are* watching it, so I'll get to see it again *hee* BTW, have you seen the bit on the "extras" section of the DVD, where you can turn on something called 'ad notes'? That triggers little pop-up-video style note bubbles during the eps, and is tres cool. ^^
