whitereflectionMy word for today is "asfdlkajsflsadkfdjsk", because that is all that my brain can manage. Too much exhausted and foul-wobbly-emo mood and flailing in stress at things.
My Chemical Romance/The Black Parade concert in in Lincoln March 3. I WANT TO GO. SO MUCH. I have been waffling for a week about whether to get a ticket or not. One minute I'll decide yes, next I'll decide no. It's...I hate going to concerts alone, and yet again I would be. Not sure if it's fully gen. admission or not, which makes going alone almost impossible (go to the restroom = lose your spot). Also, Lincoln's an hour drive away. Going wouldn't be so bad--but returning home, trying to drive an hour+ like at 11-midnightish, or later? I worry I'd be too loopy from tired to be safe--for me, tired is more like being drunk than I ever have been from alcohol.
So I dunno. I have until 5pm today to finish waffling, as tickets go on sale then. I just wish I had someone with tastes in music like mine nearby. I would love to go to concerts more, I really would. WHY THE EFF CAN'T THIS HAVE BEEN IN OMAHA, I'D PROBABLY GO EVEN IF IT WAS ALONE. Gah. Sad thing is, I think they did come to town last year, back before I went insane on them due to The Black Parade CD. Bah.
I really wish I could be at home. I feel too running on empty and nerves jangling to deal with even minor stresses. I know it's a 3-day weekend (yay for MLK day being one we actually observe)--but waiting even half a day to start recharging seems too long.
Also, beta wonderous beta. Though it didn't finish last night, they did some end-of special events. Meaning, gms showing up in capital cities, and spawning raid bosses and world bosses, (or fan favorite low-level named mobs, Hogger and Stitches, or the black death chicken, etc.) and wasting all of us while we egged them on. Though it pretty much concentrates the entire server population in one or two spots, so even cranking settings down to low, computers lag-grind to a halt (like 2-3 frames per sec for me, trying to cast spells but they just don't go off, turning while moving becomes like a slideshow). Yet...it was marvellous fun ♥ Ended up in a raid with two big-name gm/community mods (Eyonix and Tseric vs Horde's Tyren and Orinn), so we were all fangeeking about that muchly. Some of the big boss things are still out there, to stomp on anyone wandering through the capital cities. Makes me chortle, really.
