Been stewing this morning about just how utterly dumb I can be in how I act, what I say, what I type. For some reason my brain was intent on focusing in excrutiating detail on all the dork-loser things I've been up to of late. It's like one of those painfully embarrassing feelings, just wanting to wince at it.

Had planned to go out and get stuff done today, but am having trouble making myself leave the house. Lot of family phone calling to deal with anyway--usual Mom one, been spacing contacting my brother back for days, should call Dad as I heard things were rough during his and my stepmother's visit to her parents' on Thanksgiving. So maybe I'll save the errands for tomorrow, post ofc for next Saturday.

Cold as heck, but sunny. I think we're the only place in the country that didn't get hit with those snow storms.

For some reason I'm suddenly extremely craving and addicted to holiday icons. So many neat ones, though I seem to mostly be gravitating to the snow/winter scenes, ornaments and/or multicolored lights (multicolored lights on snow-covered trees = extra bonus). Who knows why. Been trying to find a good one of lit candles, but many have something about just Christmas on their text. Would either prefer blank, or--I know I'll never find this type--something that refers to Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Eid Mubarak, Happy Yule, all together...lotta text, but I could see a single lit candle with all those sorts of things in small text.

Getting tired of all these "database is unavailable" errors from LJ lately.

Also, I'm on board with the Christmas icons. I loooooooooove Christmas and Winter and I say YES MORE PLZ. I think I have to make an icon that says "Obligatory Non-denominational Winter Icon '06" and make that the new default.

Gomen gomen, hadn't meant to make anyone fuss about it. Just one of those moods I get in sometime--have the ability to remember embarrassing things from my entire life, so sometimes I dwell too much and feel lame. D:

And I get what you're saying on the jerk thing. :x I should know how that goes, as I do the same thing, really. Guess I'm always doing the 'omg i'm such a bad person that seems nice, but no one else would think/act the same way D:' Like I put those i like up on pedastals or something--which isn't fair, since it doesn't allow folks to be human or be themselves really :x

Anyway! ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Also also, if I had a little something or other to send for the whole holiday thing goin on, any way I could get an address maybe? :x (If I"ve asked already, smack me upside the head for absentmindedness >_> Also, for mass grammar and spelling issues even when I'm not trying to talk like a dork, since I'm too tired to bother backspacing to fix stuff D: )

Yay for that link! I'd actually nabbed some of their other icons off one of the communities LJ highlighted last week, but hadn't gone back looking at previous posts. There's one of their earlier candle icons I'm definitely going to have to nab :o

And thank you *many hugs* Hadn't meant to go fishing for attention or reassurances, it's one of those moods I get at times D: It's just kinda AUGH when it happens. >_>; Think it's a thing where we all tend to be overly critical of ourselves and so it all seems very big.
