Got food poisoning yesterday midday (best guess is salmonella), all the way up to full-blown gastroenteritis. Wheeeee. :P Landed me an overnight stay in a short-term care hospital with an IV to get fluids--yay for dehydration that left me damned near unable to walk. All sorts of injections for meds, blood draws, and IV sticks...have bad veins for poking anyway, and being dehydrated made it extra fun. Think I had around 7 sticks over the past couple days (I swear it was closer to 10, but I was kinda foggy).

Anyway, home now. Gonna stay home from work tomorrow since I'm still so weak/tired and washed-out. And no milk or milk products for 3-5 days since things will be easily upset for a bit. But I will say I think I would do many, many unholy things to prevent ever being that ill again. >_

I'm so very sorry for you. I had a case of food poisoning in China, and was reminded how dreadful that can be. I hope you're able to rest up enough tomorrow. *huggles*

D: omg, in China? I return the 'feel sorry' feeling :x --I mean, to have such during a vacation, and in a place where you don't know the languages or the health system. *return huggles* And yep, working on resting, tho am so achy it's making sleep difficult. Guess I need more bananas or something. ^^;
