So Saturday Mom went to the comic convention in Seattle. I do believe it was her first con, so I'm just kinda tickled at that. But she did get to see the one comic artist she was so giddy about, the one person whose announcement as guest spurred her to go: Roman Dirge, of the Lenore comic and associated web animations.

I don't have much details, other than a couple brief-brief calls while she was waiting in line to get into the con, and after she got home, but sounds like she had a blast. She saw his talk, got stuff signed, got pics. Sounds like she thought he was absolutely charming and adorable (funny considering the dark/black gothic humor of the comic ^^; )

And this is what gets me, what amuses the living *heck* outta me. When she emails me the pics, what do I see...but my mother dressed up as Lenore, the little dead girl. My mother cosplayed.
