whitereflectionSo caffeinated o_o But I can't help it...had only a few hours sleep and it was calling to me, calliiiiing~... And the Shell near the house has the best gas station/machine-urine cappucino coffee ever. This time I mixed the smores cappucino with caramel cappucino and it was heaven~ Also got decent music in the drive in, even if some was only fragments (part of Sum41's We're All To Blame, part of Goo Goo Dolls' Better Days, all of UB40's version of Can't Help Falling In Love, a song that I first went nuts over when Cory Hart did it, ah 80s~<3 I love station-flipping.)
Was extremely aggravated last night to discover that my camera's battery charger has gone tets-up. This state-of-the-art expensive digital camera, and two rechargeable batteries (with the camera and battery one only 1yr 4mo old, and battery two 4months old)...all of it is *useless* if this battery charger doesn't work. I have *one* place in town that carries the charger, but I have to wait until they open at 10 to see if they have it in stock. If they don't, I am screw-ed. I must admit, I continue to be less than thrilled with little things about the Olympus cameras--on top of being a bit >_o at the high learning curve. Anj is getting much better quality, much better value, and much better usefulness out of her little Nikon. I think what I need to do is have her research what to get and take her advice.
Was shown the coolest new area by Aaron's toon last night--the places under and around the not-yet-open instance of Karazhan in Deadwind Pass are omgsofreakingcool. Seriously, it's like Duskwood but neater. Just the right way of making an area spooky, and absolutely fitting and perfect for this time of year. Some more exploration as time permits tonight, w00t.
So much to remember today. Must contact NFM about that charger. Hopefully pick up charger after work, get allergy shot, stop at Homer's for that Blue October ticket, get cash for the trip, meet up with Kelly at home to give her keys and go over cat stuff, do bills, put away laundry and pack, talk to Aaron about trip stuffs, call Mom...woo, to-do list! Maybe I can leave here an hour early to get a head start on things. (Ohyes, must remember to charge iPod, and if camera charger is aquired, charge both batteries oh please let them have that charger in stock...)
Wah. Okay. Time to focus on work. Naturally right before I leave for a long weekend is when my shelves all fill up with special projects, when I already have an absolutely full cart of new books. : / Guess all the special stuff will have to wait for Tuesday. I just hate leaving it, even for a little.
And to quote my Dad from gods-knows-what: "I smoke the wax tadpole!"
