whitereflectionExcitable item of the day: heard on the radio station this am that Sum41/Unwritten Law are coming to town June 8. Am very, very, very tempted on that. Will have to think about it by the time tickets sell on Saturday. I know I'm already going to the Bright Eyes/Faint show May 11, but Sum41 is one of those bands I like darned near everything they do. Music, yee~ Omaha's been really doing awesomely on concerts this past year, especially the past six months, just keep getting more and more big names. Happy~
Finally did an iTunes/iPod update, burned off mp3 backups and then did a big weeding and addition of new stuff. Finally also getting around to trying The Ark as recommended by Nix,and as usual, she's very right that I'd like them. As I was telling her, it reminds me of Blue October, Grasshopper Takeover, and a hint of Matchbox20, but blended together and somehow different-unique. Will be cool to hear more by them.
Agh, still haven't done that music meme thing. Course it wouldn't take that long if I weren't so obsessive on such things and prone to rambling forever on it.
On a non-music note, got Aaron's character (plus one other person) through Blackfathoms Deep, and that was a trip being the leader of a group like that instead of a lower-level following type. Though I was crap at keeping the other person with us alive D: and I still have no sense of direction, lvl 54 or no. I think I'm always gonna be a n00b, sad to say. But Shaedra's fun engineering toys makes me more certain that one of my alts has to buff up that profession--hilarious, useful, wacked-out gadgets and equipment, what's not to love? Even *exploding sheep*. And Shae gave Sasu-rogue a mechanical squirrel pet, and that's teh awesome :) Though no sunken temple instance after all this weekend. Bummer.
Ahahaha, we're finally catching up at work--I can start on that horrid backlog of new maps this week *joy!*

Mmm, and Shirley Manson/Garbage... I really do dig her voice. What I'd give to be able to sing.

It is...a spectacular, *wonderful* (/sarcasm) feeling to realize that, when you were trained on something by your supervisor several years ago--say, maps--that said supervisor trained you using *old* procedures. Not using the revisions that had occurred just before said training. Therefore certain map catalogings have been being done vaguely incorrectly for several years now. Because said supervisor is a *clueless, head-up-her-ass, idiot*. >< >< You'd think I'd quit being surprised by this eventually. Asafdskjladsfkkljafdsljrargh><.

And the next time Anj does procedure revisions, she and I need to *make freaking sure* my supervisor is given copies with the perhaps unsubtle hint that hers are years out of date -_-
Or we could have the ice weasels come and take the woman away, I so wouldn't mind that.
