whitereflection$3800. Dunno what I'm going to do yet. If I have them fix it, then I'd want to speed-pay the rest of the loan (about $2K?), because I don't trust the vehicle anymore. Conversely, if I don't have them fix it, paying off the loan and buying a new car would also zero savings. Either case, no savings left.
Mechanic recommended calling the Saturn corporate 800# I have, or also my auto ins. But not sure if they'll be able or willing to help at all.
Kinda thought I had funds to maybe do a couple house-type things. Or there was talk of a Japan trip next year. Was also thinking that really, what I really really wanted to do most of all was go down to DisneyWorld again somehow, and wouldn't it have been neat to get together a group to go. Now, it seems a bit No to all of those potentials.
And this reinforces why I stay with certain life situations. But yeah, whatever.
