whitereflectionLately, I have been a mega-waste of space. Primarily at work. *Especially* at work. As I was pondering, am going to take tomorrow off as a vac. day, so maybe that'll help me get my brain centered again.
Am insane. Going to dabble (or should I say drabble?) in an old fandom, just because, just to see if I can. The gears seem to be worse than rusted (haven't been able to come up with *anything*, no prose--not even the background story I wanna write for Sasu-rogue--no poetry, no song lyrics--yes I've been trying, and the results have not been pretty--no haiku, no anything), so maybe this'll help.
Today is a Clannad day. Yeah, I know they're Welsh/Gaelic, but it's the closest I can come to that style of music. Guess my CD collection's weak there. At least Clannad's older stuff sounds Irish, even if the newer has that EnyaNewAgePop sound to it. Is the only way I'll 'celebrate' anyway, since I don't like beer, can't stand the idea of dumping green food coloring into things, and don't want to fight crowds at the few Irish-esque restaurants in town (and lord knows I ain't cooking anything, esp. since most non-restaurant Irish food I've had has been bland-awful-salty stuff). Here's to the Bradley side of Mom's family.
At least the servers were stable last night, though the group I was with was on Kalimdor anyway. But jeezus, leatherworkers (meaning Alliance ones) get the most pain-in-the-ass, tedious damned quests ever, especially those going for the elemental specialization. Goddang, this bit is gonna be annoying.
