Kelly found me a used copy of Guilty Gear X2 yesterday. In original box, with instructions! <3<3<3 I now owe her my soul. So very happeh...
DnD game yesterday went ok, though much of it was spent discussing WoW, EQ2, and City of Heroes. Playing tabletop, talking about online...ironic or something, somehow. ^^; One of the folks there is a trucker, and is buying a really sweet laptop and wifi to play EQ2 on the road--like a 4200$ laptop. *drools like mad* Gads, that's gonna be a power machine (the sort he's hoping to last a few years, so really beefy. Beefeh.)
WoW also went well--knocked off a couple simple quests, got to where I'm 60% to level 30...just a little bit more to go. *antsy* Would have stayed on longer, but one of the new guild people (who I'd given a little leather to) was being strangely clingy about wanting to be in a group and do stuff, so I thought it was a good breakpoint to sign off. ^^; (And jonesing right now? >_> ...yes.)
But this amuses me: http://www.machall.com/index.php?strip_id=314 As does the game image it's based on: http://www.machall.com/devilsaur.jpg Heh.
Drive in today was superslow. I know there's a little new snow down, but still, ain't that bad--streets are barely mucked. People are morons.
Not only did I miss Paul McCartney singing songs I dearly love on the Superbowl halftime show, I missed when the classic rock station played the original versions this morning. Just caught the tail end of Hey Jude. Which yes, was enough to set me off (and for some reason I *couldn't stop* >( I use the phrase 'hormonal psychosis' about myself for a reason...). I know I've got that song on my iPod. But it's different to hear it when it randomly comes on the radio. Trust me on this. Like it's a bit of a pleasant surprise or something.
Haven't done a thing yet this am. But I was trying to tie up loose ends up on the claims I'm filing for last year's health care reimbursement account, so that's work related, isn't it? >.> I want my moneh...
