Soanyway, yeah, work. Bit of a better mood this weekend, but I'm kinda letting it slip away with my poor attitude about being here. -_- I guess the overwhelmedness, I just deal with and quit bitching. Chip away at it, and all that. The other bits--ie always feeling isolated due to lack of IMs and email/lj quietness--ok, that'll always be there. The problem is being greedy for attention all the time, which is unrealistic and childish.
Tinkered a bit with my troll hunter yesterday, and am really discovering why there is such love for them. Hunters really are a god-class. Talk about not having to melee if you don't wanna. Only downside is having to build up a good supply of whatever food that particular pet likes--but looks like a player can get ahead of that demand pretty quick. Too bad Fuego doesn't like fish. I can fish myself blue in the face, no matter what character I'm using to do so. But as I suspected, was no DnD game yesterday, so I got to do a little WoW, had time for grocery shopping, a chance to make another of the soup mixes Kelly had given me, and couchflopsleep. Too bad I was still too lazy to hit Best Buy (car radio upgrade?, AzuDai 6), Sears (antiallergen pillows/bedding), or the mall (Doc Martens boots dead, need more :x) yet again. Eh.
Mmph...sometimes I wonder if I shouldn't read really serious multipart fics until they're done. Some of the SasuNaru/NaruSasu ones are just so...down/angst, I guess you'd call it, that it'd kinda be nice to know if there's any hope of good endings before letting a story tear at a person for months on end. Some of them can be really negative, even the *good* stories, not counting the stuff that's godawful crap at all. I guess it's just I don't like to wait, for any story. I want it all, now--but I especially want to know if/how things resolve, no matter who the author or characters, amateur or professional. And yes, at times I do read endings first--otherwise, I'm so impatient I practically skim the story, and don't savor it or really pick up details.
Strange stuff on the radio this morning. Couple weeks back there were two college students here that got lost in one of our snowstorms, and died from hypothermia, despite repeated calls to 911. The rescue service has been taking some godawful major flack for it, but now they're releasing transcripts of the calls, and autopsy reports showing the pair had marijuana and meth traces in their systems--and the River (the station I listen to) was playing excerpts from the calls, and the couple were just...hallucinating and delusional, they kept telling rescue they were at 76 and Pacific, which is midtown Omaha...and they were at the Gretna exit, which is on the extreme outskirts of town, southeast I think. They were saying once their car was in a ditch broken down, then they said it'd been stolen, they were claiming to see 100-200 Mexicans and African-Americans dressed in tribal cult outfits taking cars apart and stashing the metal in the trees, and they couldn't talk with these 'people'. And they couldn't get that rescue was telling them to stay with/in their vehicle, and were walking in the bitter cold and snow in jeans and longsleeve tshirts and hooded sweatshirts. So yeah...very fucked up--really could tell from the story and listening how much 911 was *trying* to do something over those hours, but couldn't, not one fucking thing, because these two individuals were so mentally blasted from the drugs rescue couldn't figure out where the hell they were. Was basically a big public service message about how yeah, the drugs you take may not kill you or damage you long-term--but if you impair yourself or lose your judgement and control, you could do fucking stupid shit that leaves you just as dead. Great. Hope their meth buzz was worth all that.
Woo, huge paragraph, go me. Anyway, enough work avoiding. Wait, before I forget--Arty, Brandon, since you're both Alliance on Alleria, I believe my guild is either recruiting now, or may be soon. If you're interested in being a part of that sorta thing, poke me, right? I've got or will soon have the ability to invite, at least for a short while.
Saa...seems over the weekend someone stole the cocoa packets Kelly had on her desk--and left the empty box. Nice.

One of the electrician/handyman types there did handblown glass, and eventually he got his own studio. Every year I go to his holiday open house and find things for people. : ) Though I'm running out of folks to give stuff to :x I know *I* could hang tons and tons of blown glass and stained glass stuff up, but I don't think anyone else likes it quite as much as me >_>;;
Have you gotten WoW yet? I'm gonna end up getting an extra copy of the game, since I got a new-sealed copy of the collector's ed for a good price off Ebay (I already have the regular game, of course). I offered the extra game (cd/dvd install discs, unused obviously, unused authentication key, manual, 10-day guest pass) to Nixy, but she never emailed me back about it. :x I'll find out for sure if she wants it or not--if not, I'll come ask you. I'd be looking for the same as retail price (like 49.95, isn't it?) for it. I just wanted the stuff that came with it ^^; like sountrack, artbook, in-game pet, etc...
