Yesterday was absolutely wretched. Some improved after I went home, though. Dinner out with Dad and Dave (and James, natch), so that was ok. But was hard to come in to work again. I really just don't want to deal with it. But I seem to have this hangup about not calling in sick if I'm not, but I don't want to dig into my vacation time, so... *shrugs* Just would have been nice to get extra sleep and huddle on the couch under that heavy fuzzy blanket and just hide. And today is not looking all that promising, but maybe it won't be as bad.
The one thing...I've always said my job could be done by trained monkeys. Untrained ones, even. When untrained monkeys flinging crap would be more competent and needing less help and fixing on every damned little thing than me, that's when it's truly pathetic. Good thing I'm not dealing with careers involving complexity or intelligence like y'all do, or I'd've had my ass fired a long time ago. Funny how in high school and college I really thought I was hot shit.
Am in the middle of the worst Ebay transaction I've ever had to deal with. I swear I think I'm never going to deal with Ebay again--can't even trust someone who has a high amount of good feedback not to screw with you anymore.
Saa, Kelly has owned her car five years, and now is up to having it hit--never her fault--five times. Bad carma.
