I have to admit, I gave up reading Sparkling Generation Valkyrie Yuuki (www.sgvy.com) a long time ago. I kept wanting it to be The Jar, and naturally it wasn't. And I kept twitching at way too many panty shots and the sheer over-the-tops-ness of Yuuki's chest (even if it's done as parody, it made me twitch >_>).

But curiosity made me give it another chance, and...dang, I think it's grown on me. It's had a cameo by the Beatniks (!<3) , it even had a panel where in the background was a blackboard with "What is the Jar?" written on it, it's got Thor :D (and he both kicks ass and cracks me up), and Loki (who also cracks me up "Boozeahol!"). (And dangit, there's a couple icons I wanna do...) And Freya intrigues me *arches eyebrow*

So I dunno, maybe I'm getting enough quirky humor to finally get me sticking' with it...while ignoring the cheesier (jeez, is it *always* cold there or somethin'?) stuff.

But i sort of went through the same thing. I read it for a bit, then stopped reading, now i'm sorta reading it again. I just wish the forums weren't so bland >.>
