Death inna bucket--supersized
Nov. 16th, 2004 09:16 amStill am amused at VGCats. Hell yeah, I'd do that, if I played the Sims. I mean, sure, I'd be trying to make various character-based couples fall for each other and do indecent acts of Sim-smex, but I'd also be giving others names of characters/persons I hated and setting them on fire. And singing Firewater Burn while doing so. Yeah.
Speaking of which, I'd have to name one after my supervisor. Christ, can she be *ANY* more of a waste of space? I should not have to be reminding *her* do to certain tasks. Especially when I've all but shoved my volunteering to help down her throat multiple times, and have her still not get off her ass and dig into our glut of DVDs. When she was on vacation, I had them down to *nothing*--now she's got a three-shelf cartful...a *full* three-shelf cartful. I think I'd have just gone and done them already, but I've been waiting on her to make a processing decision and *geez louise*. Someone get me a baseball bat. Cricket bat. Can of gasoline and a match. Burn, motherfscker, burn. (And Anj remarked that back when we were processing theses, and were told to do so by a certain day, most of the catalogers got them back to us within a week--Susan sat on hers for a *month*).
Anyway. Amused at the webcomic Bunny. http://www.frozenreality.co.uk/comic/bunny/index.php?id=75 A V for Vendetta reference~<3 Is that cool or *what*? <3
So. WoW beta. Yeah, shock that I'd mention that. Still on the EST server Test 18, with Shikamaru the lvl 9 (and a half) female troll, and Sasuke the lvl 5 female night elf. I think I've given up on my male night elf warrior, because I just don't like the male body shapes in the game--seriously, Conan-burly. Ick. I've created a female human warlock, Rime, but I haven't played her yet. I pretty much don't like any of the human character designs/faces, but I do want to try one, especially to be a warlock. That's a damned cool class. If I could be a troll warlock that would rock muchly--but of course I can't. >( I'm pretty certain I won't bother with playing dwarves, orcs, or undead (the latter being just too yeek-ick-looking)--and no way in hell would I play a gnome. Those things are ass-stupid-looking. Like flesh-colored Smurfs, or those godawful troll dolls from the 80s. And they get stupid-looking mounts, too--at least the other races get normal or cool ones (must get a nightsaber for my night elf and a raptor--Raptor!--for my troll). I also need to create a Tauren (sp?) character, maybe a shaman--keen minotaur things.
But if there's one thing WoW is teaching me, it's how to die :D Okay, and so it was only a three (well, technically four) member group, but still, I've encountered my very first whole-party-death. w00t! XD
So...does it surprise anyone I've been dreaming that I'm playing WoW? :x Last several nights, especially last night, was so bad it kept waking me up over and over. I think I need to cut down the caffeine to get my sleep to settle. >.>; (Not that it'll stop me from playing, or from buying the game and subscribing in a couple weeks here. Addicted~~~<3 )
Anj was over last night to test her new USB flash drive/file permissions on another computer, and used the chance to finish Katamari Damacy ^.^ So we got to see the end credits (crack), and see what happens when you replay levels after game completion. Much fun. Now I have to actually do the whole game, not just watch her do it. ^^;
Allergies still high, been wheezing worse the last few days--especially yesterday, still some today. Back to having to use the albuterol inhaler, which I'd thought I was weaning myself off of. Gotta be off the albuterol if I'm going to ever get off the Advair. *Neither* of which I ever had to use, at least on an ongoing basis, before getting sick in Sept./Oct. So that's aggravating--I don't want to have to add on another permanent prescription--the two Allegras and Nasonex are costing me enough,especially since my prescription costs are going up yet again next year. *flails in anger* If my insurance tells me how much they're saving me, I'm going to tell them to shove it up their collective asses. Yeah, Firewater Burn, again.
...comic, bitch, comic, computer game-computer game-computer game, video game, bitch. Yee, is that typical or what? (Let's not forget bishounen and yaoi fangirling--Sasuke! SasuNaru! NaruSasu! Yeah, ok that should about cover it. *hits herself for being a dork*)

Date: 2004-11-17 12:07 pm (UTC)You remember the Subway commercials with the singing mutated-hampster things?
Yes, we inevitably ended up singing at some point in time while Anj struggled with that level... "WE LIKE THA MOOOOON!"
